Lauren is a left-brained analytical thinker with right-brained creative attributes. A study abroad sparked the Austin, Texas native’s interest in historic architecture. That led to a certification in historic preservation, a bachelor’s degree in environmental design, and a master’s degree in architecture from Texas A&M. During her internship with Studio 8, Lauren became familiar with the bomb-damaged Second Avenue structures and engaged with Nashville and Urban Land Institute leaders to gather insight for her thesis on adaptive reuse. With knowledge ranging from sustainability to interior design to historic preservation, Lauren helps clients accomplish their goals while shaping the built environment. After work, you might find her playing sand volleyball or volunteering with a young adult ministry group.
