DUNBAR CAVE VISITOR CENTER

CLARKSVILLE, TENNESSEE

Studio Eight Design began working with Tennessee State Parks in 2011 on design upgrades for exhibition spaces in the Visitor Center at Dunbar Cave State Park. Studio Eight worked closely with representatives to develop a program for the exhibits, and was also responsible for upgrading the building as necessary to house those exhibits.  This project included alterations to the entry as well as substantial finish upgrades.

The exhibits of Dunbar Cave now tell the rich story of its nature and history from pre-historic and Native American times to when Roy Acuff owned and managed the property, holding dances and concerts in the Cave.
